[TPO Secretariat]

The Tourism Promotion Organization for Global Cities (TPO) has been approved for a three-year guest status in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation(APEC) Tourism Working Group, following endorsement by APEC member economies.

The guest status will remain valid until 31 December 2028.

As an approved guest, TPO will be able to participate in APEC Tourism Working Group meetings and related activities, in accordance with APEC procedures.

Since last year, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea, TPO has participated in APEC Tourism Working Group meetings. During TWG 65, TPO introduced the organization and presented potential project proposals, outlining areas of collaboration with APEC member economies.

This approval provides a foundation for continued engagement with the APEC Tourism Working Group and supports TPO’s efforts to contribute to tourism policy dialogue within the APEC framework.
