This summer, the 30th Busan Sea Festival will take place at Dadaepo Beach from August 7 to August 13.

As Busan’s signature summer festival, the Busan Sea Festival brings together fireworks, music, food, youth culture, and relaxation against the backdrop of Dadaepo’s breathtaking sunsets and expansive sandy beach. A variety of exciting programs showcasing the unique charm of Dadaepo await both residents and visitors.

The festival begins on August 7 with the opening ceremony and the Dadae Fireworks Show. 

Set against the stunning sunset and nightscape of Dadaepo, the largest fireworks display in western Busan will illuminate the summer sky and mark the grand opening of the festival.

Throughout the festival, visitors can enjoy “Dadae Pocha,” one of the largest beach food courts in the country. Featuring a spacious beachfront dining and viewing area, Dadae Pocha offers a wide variety of food and beverages. The Dadae Pocha Stage will host daily live performances and featured programs based on different themes, creating a vibrant seaside cultural space where visitors can eat, relax, and enjoy the festival atmosphere.

From August 7 to 9, the Sunset Beach Club will transform the beach into a unique entertainment venue. The Sunset Pub offers a relaxing atmosphere with soothing music and comfortable lounge spaces, while the Sunset Club features DJs, EDM performances, and energetic nightlife experiences, making Dadaepo’s sunset and seaside evenings even more memorable.

From August 10 to 11, Youth Liberation Zone by the Sea will bring together university students from across Busan. Featuring student club performances, campus-style food booths, and interactive programs, this participatory festival zone will showcase the passion, creativity, and energy of youth culture.

On the final day of the festival, August 13, the Sea Concert will take center stage. Performances by local children’s and youth choirs, along with invited popular artists, will provide a heartwarming musical experience for families and audiences of all generations, bringing the festival to a memorable close.

In addition, visitors can enjoy a variety of family-friendly attractions, including the Dadae Beach Market, featuring vintage goods and hands-on activities, and the Fountain Playground, where children can cool off and have fun during the summer heat.
